Based on the data of kitchen accounts 1632–1633 and other relevant sources, article aims to shed light assortment food products beverages supplied Władysław IV Vasa, King Poland Grand Duke Lithuania, dishes that used be cooked for ruler. The analysis shows beef, mutton, piglets, meat domestic birds, wild animals (hares, deer), birds (most often black grouse, hazel partridges, thrushes, pigeons) were delivered court Interestingly, turkeys Vasa very often, not only during feasts. During fasts, different types fish consumed, but salmon was purchased special occasions. also reveals dairy products, bread, cereals, sweets, local vegetables, imported fruit, spices, beverages. sources even reveal ingredients some pastries ruler’s table: jelly, pâté, stews various meats vegetables (olla pulreda), rice pudding (bianka), Easter cake, others.The cuisine shared features with Western European Renaissance cuisine: it followed fashion eating sweets consuming spices. influence French more pronounced, although elite began abandon abundant consumption spices period.
